Watching Tadej Pogačar win Il Lombardia. Bittersweet because the massive subscription hike means I can no longer afford to follow cycling in 2026.

I mean, during the Industrial Revolution/ Irish Potato Famine, ancestors of mine left Wales/ Ireland/ Kent for London, but that doesn't make me in any way Welsh, Irish or Kentish, or identify any more with those places and their heritage than, say, Latvia.
