@stephruhle.bsky.social it's not enough to say thousands and thousands of jobs have been cut. The media needs to report real number of jobs lost. Across federal employees and all the canceled contracts to date that affect large and small employers, it is at least 200,000 jobs lost already.

I wonder if spreading extremely encouraging experimental results on helping treat pancreatic cancer with *gasp* mRNA vaccines may help people who have villainized them come around. This is a good press release on the study and links to the Nature paper. www.mskcc.org/news/can-mrn...

Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.

The premise of American foreign policy to Ukraine, today, is one of grievance. It is worth patiently considering the proposals. They reveal little about Ukraine, but much about America in February 2025.

Now, he wants unprecedented access to the payment system that distributes Social Security and Medicare.

The J6 pardons are legally authorized but constitutionally unpardonable. Their issuance is a “high crime and misdemeanor” within the meaning of the Impeachment Clause because it is a clear abuse of presidential power. Sadly that power was neutered by the Senate during Trump’s two impeachment trials
