Yes, I was hacked. It happened while I was texting with someone about my dad, who is dying of cancer, being in the hospital today. This is the worst possible time for me to try to resolve this. I'm guessing whoever did it might have known that.

This pledge is a historic record. It declares where we stand while governments stay silent. Sign the #AntiGenocidePledge and make it clear: you stand with Palestine, not genocide.

Never feel bad about reposting your stuff on here because for the first year of this website we had an entirety of 20 daily posts that we all had to share and reheat like a communal soup

Hey fellow #writers and #historians, who else writes their way into a topic? e.g. I just spent two days writing on things that i now know will in all likelihood not be in the final draft, but I had to write just to try and develop my thoughts

May Day, International Workers Day. A day to remember the history of the labor movement. A day to join an action. A day to reflect on the upswell of successful organizing efforts in the last year. A day to begin or continue building unionism wherever you sell your labor.

Not new indeed. While "company unions" were outlawed under the NLRA, modern corps have learned to use rhetorical tactics like this to demonstrate how responsive they are to employees. "We're a family!" It's all a ruse. Organize!
Apparently a Costco store unionized and Costco wrote a letter like "we're not anti-union and we're not disappointed in our employees, we're disappointed in ourselves because our employees felt they needed one!"

Y'all, this is not a new tactic. Walmart says the same shit. Don't fall for it.
