What's clear is what we've been reporting on for nearly 4 years: American nat gas saves Europe by keeping the light and the heat on. Europe's natural gas & power prices are exponentially more than the U.S. They would be even higher without American LNG, which continues to flow into Europe every day.

Both sides are taking a financial hit and some countries in Europe are losing energy sources. No one wins. As such, it seems possible (or even plausible) that Ukraine and Russia end up striking some kind of deal to keep the gas flowing.

Or not. Time will tell.
