I saw this on the other site. There is only *one* convenience store in the interior streets of the Annex. I don't think people understand how sleepy and under-populated Toronto's pre-war suburbs are.

Found an update on the Jane Street RapidTO project. Project is cancelled south of the 401 in Nunziata's ward. Taken from Maple Leaf/Rustic Road street plan consultation notes: cc @ttcriders.bsky.social

Shuttered Canadian coffee chain, Coffee Time, lives on in Himeji, Japan in all its indoor smoke filled glory.

Every year the city pretends they're going to rebuild this street, and every year we pretend to believe them.

It was done to accommodate the film industry. Oh, and it also creates an “interesting and dynamic urban mix”

Using a lagging left turn at intersections would eliminate the risk of streetcars getting struck by drivers, but this setup is against city policy. Why? Who the hell knows. Same setup for Eglinton and Finch west.

This is the response I got from Etobicoke Centre's MP when I asked him (okay, goaded..) him to name exactly which sidestreets cyclists can use instead of Bloor.

The suggested route is to take Dupont or Davenport during rush hour. Is it just that he's stubborn/doesn't know how to use Waze and adjust his route?

Seems that MTO has scheduled Toronto bike lane removals for 2026 at a cost of $25m to $100m. Seems like a waste of money!

People don't feel safe biking on Parliament?

I totally support ideas like these, as long as it's built nowhere near me.

City of Toronto when we ask them to pedestrianize Ossington (or literally any other street)
July 26, 2025 at 8:21 PM
Seems like the city has seen my feedback and is now proposing to widen the driving lanes on Ossington to 3.5 metres...

The Adelaide streetcar diversion seems to be going great! It's interesting how it's down to just one through lane instead of 3 and no one's noticed.

Hear me out. What if we hired an elderly actor like Michael Caine (he'll take any role) to lobby the city to get parks workers to stop driving their pickups on the lawn.
