The data on this exists and its pretty straightforward. This particular cut is never about saving taxpayer money.

Setting aside the insanity of CAN wanting to join the US or our right to force them to be, why do people assume they would be just 1 state? They have 10 providences not 1, CAN is larger than the entire continental US, and their population exceeds the combined total of the 20 least populated states.
