Here we see the majestic "Canis Lupus Derpus" hunting one of his favorite prey: pizza crust. This is the first time I've been able to capture his famous derp face on film.

Funny, but who uses `function` in javascript these day? => everything. It's fun trying to guess what `this` is pointed at.

I had fun earning my Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certs. I could hear the rust knocking off of the gears as I tried to remember how to build a Docker image 😅. I remember using Docker before it went 1.0 and even earlier containerizations with CoreOS and chroot.

I'm not sure if mobile screens have influenced my preference. I want apps that adapt to fit more of them on a wide display.

"The irony is that many enterprises took these agile principles and implemented them and converted them into the rigid frameworks, the very things that agile was rebelling against"

Slave-like devotion to the Agile Process™ ignores the spirit of the movement.
I recently had a great conversation with Bryan and Gautham , reflecting on why enterprises struggle with Devops and Agile. The industry is now abuzz with Platform Engineering. Will it succeed? I believe it has a better shot at success. Listen here to hear why: open.spotify.com/episode/19ZX...

We are all so atomised. And then an eclipse happens. And an aurora. And we all share something wonderful, however briefly. It's like back when there were only two channels and we all watched the same game, the same final, the same finale, again.

More of this please, shared humanity, sharing wonder.

Thank you Will Ferrell for turning me on to Neil Diamond. The SNL Story Tellers episode is still one of my favorites, and has sparked a genuine connection with the artist you parodied.

"The AI wars started in the most unlikely of places, technical recruiting. Language models are being tuned to maximize keyword matches. The war escalated between AI recruiters and AI resume builders, effectively locking billions of humans out of employment."

My 15 yr old son found this "note" in my old jacket. He said "it just has random numbers and a name." I told him that it's a telephone number. His mind was blown that we didn't need area codes in the olden days 🤣
