“A very powerful network, a globalist network, who are very well funded and very organised, and are pursuing their own ideology” which must be defeated by “Christian values,” is it 🤔
In case you missed it in The Other Place, Liz Truss has gone properly fucking nuts.

Remember all the outraged coverage about a handful of climate protesters slowing ambulances a few years back?

Well it turns out that wealthy farmers doing exactly the same thing on a much bigger scale is absolutely fine

Looking forward to a day when rail is truly nationalised again. Bought a ticket from Cambridge to Stansted (admittedly cheap) but the train is delayed 25 mins. Can’t use an earlier train to arrive on time as it’s a different company so would have to buy a second ticket. Nuts!

Great interview with Baroness Sayeeda Warsi by Marina Wheeler KC at Cambridge Literary Festival. Much common sense spoken. Yes, she's flogging her latest book, but I was still impressed by her passion to fight Islamaphobia. No holding back in criticising her former Tory colleagues over the issue

Sad news - a hero of mine since I was about 16. Aside from his amazing career writing hits for others, Pete Sinfield's only ever album, released in 1973, 'Still', is still a classic.
Peter Sinfield, lyricist for King Crimson, Céline Dion and more, dies aged 80
Versatile poet and music producer co-founded King Crimson, produced Roxy Music’s debut album and had a long partnership with Greg Lake
