The real thing that gets me about all of those things is that while they give you a scale, they really only ever consider things as a binary. Just stop with the 8+ is good, everything else is bad garbage and have good or bad as your only choices.

A very long time ago when I was in my late teens, my family dentist told me that he didn't care about who I vote for but if anyone tries to take flouride out of the water to do everything I can to keep it in. Removing it makes dentists more money and even they want to keep it in.
