Also given the rules, they could have just kicked it short of the landing zone and it's the same thing. Only thing the Bears shouldn't have done was made the kick possibily returnable.

Bears needed to do anything besides kick it to a place where that was returnable. Kick it out of bounds. Short of the landing zone.

Comcast eliminated the “back ten seconds” button a few years ago which had me hoarding old remotes. And they’ve eliminated cable cards which means my TiVo won’t work for much longer either which is a tragedy because their boxes suck and don’t do what TiVos do. I feel this.
Decided to spend my Saturday morning writing about a silly thing that probably only bothers me. It's my "old man yells at cloud" post. Partially inspired by @joon.bsky.social.
