Twitter was an ideal stop for news both in aggregating the mainstream news sources and allowing for credible primary source reporting from amateurs and alternatives. It was a hopeful and promising evolution from single-sourced corporate controlled mainstream media. Elon musk destroyed its utility.

At height of climate change, during great income inequality, while struggling with infrastructure needs, I hate seeing Chicago all in for Nascar, celebrating a subsidized spectacle of pollution, costing other needs, and ensuring masses support a few billionaires
