I tried to "squeeze gel purify" DNA, sent it for sequencing, and it worked!

~Protocol:
1) cut out band
2) poke hold in small tube, put gel in it, put in big tube
3) Spin for 2-3 seconds
4) sequence the liquid in the bottom tube

I did something very similar lest month, but w gentamycin and CAM. Way easier/cheaper than PCR screening. Too bad I couldn’t do that for any other edits.
