If Hochul stands her ground, she wins. New York is a net payer in federal taxes. If Trump does this she should cut off the federal funds immediately.

So sure Trump, you can cut off federal funds to New York... at your own peril.

And imagine if Newsom, Pritzker and Walz got on board too.

So, New York, California, Illinois, Minnesota, Massachusetts... You can do something very funny.

@gavinnewsom.bsky.social keeps saying he wants to fight, well, here's somewhere he actually can. Pritzker, Walz, Hochul...

They can get together and say "Not one more cent to this criminal regime."

Down 30 points on the economy.

His numbers are worse than "Bidenflation", and the issue is only getting more important. This is his biggest loser.

2025 was just a taste. At this rate I can see why they're so scared to get rid of the filibuster.

All top issues are losers for Trump.

I thought this was two separate ballot measures. If they tried the voter ID law on its own, they'd probably have got it through.

But they got greedy by trying to combine a restriction in mail-in voting, so took the big fat L.

That right there is the story of the NJ election.
November 5, 2025 at 3:07 AM
I actually might have got it perfect.

Still some Democratic votes to come in, so the margin will increase a bit more from 12.3 where it is now.

Just after I posted. I manifested that into existence.

I've highlighted Loudon County because it's swung 12 points from its 2024 results and it's finished counting.
November 5, 2025 at 12:51 AM
I've seen enough. I'm calling Spanberger.
November 5, 2025 at 12:45 AM
Alright, we're off to the races. Polls closed in Virginia, I'm going to say Spanberger wins by 13 points.

Virginia is only an estimate as it doesn't disclose party affiliation of voters, but we're looking at a similar pattern where predicted Democrats are turning out more.

So, looking like both governor races will go to the Democrats.
November 1, 2025 at 10:16 AM
Registered Democrats are majorly turning out for New Jersey compared to 2024.

A lot of polls saying it will be close, but the early vote numbers aren't saying that.
