while we celebrate our big wins, don't forget that the next step is doing the work. i have a lot of hope, but we need to be prepared to hold our newly elected officials accountable. hold on to this feeling and keep fighting, and remember that a better future IS possible.

The most evil government continues to abuse rules meant to protect people, to abuse them instead. This law is only interpreted to mean that you can't *overcharge* SNAP recipients...not offer them a discount because you can't open a government in fear of being Epsteined.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
