I really don't like it that we in the US give the idea of debate such reverence. Like sure it's good to hash ideas out and try to improve them with other people, but I feel like most people aren't doing that. People are mostly using it as a shield to protect shitty opinions.

I see why Newsom wants to be identified with Reagan, because just like Reagan, he’s abandoning LGBTQ people. Also he’s a neoliberal enabler of capitalist domination and control.
The presidency once served as a reminder of our common humanity. Ronald Reagan described its purpose as building "a nation composed of good and decent people."

I don't often shout out popular things but I've been really enjoying Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. The original manga was fun but had a lot of issues, but Modulo has been a complete blast to read thus far. Really looking forward to seeing how it goes.
