Oxford City Council is hosting a Winter Warmers event in partnership with South Oxford Health Alliance on Wednesday 3rd December, 10-12pm.

There'll be giveaways including; hats, scarves, gloves, handwarmers, flasks, draught excluders and blankets - ensuring everyone can stay warm this winter.

Fantastic to hear that another Vehicle Activated Sign is set to be installed on Weirs Lane tomorrow! This comes after two years of hard slog.

Speeding is a major risk to other road users and is making people feel unsafe. The County Council needs to do more.

Another great morning talking with residents! This time in Long Ford Close.

Will be taking up issues around ASB, drug dealing and e-scooters. South Oxford is sooo pretty in the sunshine ☀️

Fantastic to be out again talking with residents in Iffley Village about the issues which matter to them.

A great response on the doorstep. Looking forward to continuing to work alongside residents to make Iffley an even better place to live! #labourdoorstep

It is fantastic news that after significant lobbying by @anneliesedoddsmp.bsky.social and Labour Councillors such as myself, OFAS now has the CPOs it needs to progress!

It’s time to get shovels in the ground to protect Oxford’s homes.

Voters across Cowley, Rose Hill and Littlemore will be shocked to find that their ‘independent’ Councillors have joined up with the Conservatives at County Hall - propping them up behind closed doors.

It’s clear a vote for the IOA is a vote for the Conservative Party!

Still recovering after a long couple of days.

I am overwhelmed to have been re-elected as the Oxfordshire County Councillor for the larger Isis division.

It has been an absolute privilege to represent the diverse communities of South & East Oxford over the last four years.

Greater to be out again in Iffley Village talking with voters before Thursday.

It has been a privilege to serve Iffley, Donnington and South Oxford on the County Council.

We ask representatives of political parties standing in local elections. We'll post one video a day.

Absolutely shocking that despite claiming that social care is a priority the Tories and Lib Dem’s grouped up to block Oxfordshire supporting a new National Care Service

A National Care Service would put provide clear national guidelines and standards, so that no one goes without the care they need

Fantastic to hear from residents this morning about the urgent need for the 3/3A to connect to the rail station.

The petition has now attracted 1,132 signatures. Yet, the Council still refuses to help restore this link or bring buses under public control.

One of most common things people raise with me is the lack of a dedicate time for pedestrians to cross at the junction of Abingdon Road and Weirs Lane near Tescos.

We shouldn’t have to wait for someone to be seriously hurt for something to be done at this dangerous junction.

Fantastic to meet provider Clear Channel this afternoon about installing a bench or shelter at the southbound Howard St bus stop.

It’s critical that public transport is inclusive and easy to use if we are going to tackle congestion.
