The #BirdOfTheDay theme today is #swans and the alternative is #posts from Alan. While this young female Anhinga is technically on a sign - there is a post in front of her. I think we have all had the desire to look up to the heavens and just yell. #birds #birdphotography

The New York Times won’t use the word but we should because it’s obvious: right wing political influencers aren’t just ‘close to’ the administration — they are its propagandists in the most literal sense of that word. They financially benefit from access & loyalty.

Yesterday, I pleaded not guilty to the charges that Trump’s DOJ has hit me with in federal court.

This administration is targeting me because they can see that I’ve spoken out against them and will continue to stand up to them.

@robcrank68.bsky.social's #birdoftheday theme is #DucksOutOfWater.
Male long-tailed duck. Summer plumage very different from winter.
31st May: still very wintery in the high Arctic.

It’s only a year since we came to live in North East England, so I don’t know whether it’s unusual to have the late summer garden flowers still going in mid-November?
It’s nice to retain a bit of summer colour in the garden, but rather unexpected! xx #gardening
