Maduro is a brutal and oppressive dictator of Venezuela.

Trump has no legitimate legal basis for military action against Venezuela under United States or international law.

Both of those facts are simultaneously true.

Shame on @nytimes.com for this headline. Siebert didn’t “fail” to bring charges. He did what all ethical lawyers are required to do: follow the code of conduct and not bring frivolous lawsuits or bring charges that can’t meet their burden of proof.

Today’s news confirms it: Cuomo is Trump’s choice for Mayor. The White House is considering jobs for Adams and Sliwa to clear the field.

New Yorkers are sick of corrupt politics and backroom deals. No matter who’s running, we will deliver a better future on November 4.

We are way past unfair or even immoral. This is evil.

“Starbucks’ CEO pay was the largest gap in 2024, with its CEO, Brian Niccol, receiving total compensation worth $95.8m, 6,666 times as much as the company’s $14,674 median pay.”

Why is Cuomo in the Hamptons talking about how he wants to run NYC? Because the constituency he serves doesn’t summer in the city.

So… Cuomo from Westchester is in the Hamptons talking about how he’s going to run NYC. Why won’t he talk to New Yorkers in the city?
At (another) Hampton’s fundraiser with Republican donors on Saturday, Andrew Cuomo said it plainly: he’s expecting Trump’s help to defeat us in November.

“I feel good about that,” Cuomo said.

New Yorkers won’t.

On Monday, @elizabeth-warren.bsky.social came to NYC to talk about universal childcare, and why we shouldn’t listen to billionaires who say making life affordable for working families isn't possible.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

Cuomo is posturing about pride of homeownership, but Mamdani actually has policy proposals to protect homeowners, such as protection from deed theft and elimination of the tax lien sale.
More than two thirds of New Yorkers are tenants. Andrew Cuomo compared them to hotel guests.

We need a Mayor who will bring our city together around an agenda to lower costs for everyone, whether they rent or own.
