It’s maddening to say this, but X is still the dominant space in this format. So many communities never left it. I constantly see screenshots of breaking news from posts there, for example.

There’s just a staggering amount of people that have no issue with Elon Musk. At least not enough to leave.

I never played Exploding Kittens, but I trust it’s at least better than UNO? If so, it’s a step up. (And makes people more open to try new games they haven’t heard of before.)

I just wish it was Flip7, or LLAMA.

I'm a big fan of how this book casually unmasks the political suggestions and beliefs underlying so many eurogame designs.

This is the dirty secret of all eurogames. They're, unwittingly or not, propaganda at heart.

This is the more abstract version of explaining why eurogames feel "soulless" and "same-y".

It's a self-inflicted wound by players to only care selectively.
