The Hot Air Balloons were out today, drawing our eyes to the sky and reminding us all of how wonderful the world around us can be.
The infinite compassion never abandons us, and the light always touches us. We are all the target of that compassion.

Things are starting to feel a little Escape from L.A.'ish to be honest.
Other than the improved diction, I think the line "Like the mighty fist of God, Armageddon will descend upon the city of Los Angeles." could totally be from a press conference in the last few weeks.

The Covid.gov site now directs to a conspiracy and hit page on the White houses website. I remember being a paramedic during those first months, the human tragedy of it all and we now as a country appear to the rest of the world to just be science/medicine hating bumpkins.
There is a deeply misunderstood aspect of medicine in our general culture that with a 80's style montage all diseases are curable, and that somehow it doesn't actually take 50+ years to start to understand how one thing biologically complex bodies work.

When the measure of the health of a country and a culture is weighed only on economic factors than those who do not grow this factor are viewed as a disease. The blunt approach to disease is to excise the diseased tissue.

I have been finding myself self-censoring my opinions more and more online, a concern that with AI raising that it will be easier for bad actors to identify those who oppose their actions. Does anyone else have these feelings as well?
