To protect ourselves, we must protect others. To protect others, we protect ourselves. This is cause and effect. Vaccines do both, especially for those who are weaker than ourselves. May we not invite the midnight smoke into our lives through our own greed, anger and ignorance.

As a Buddhist it is foundational to our understanding of existence that cause and effect drive our perceived reality, and to reduce the suffering of myself, reducing the suffering of others is fundamental.

As it turns out, Vaccines are given the insanely complex meat machines we walk around in a small amount of data to process and recognize, something that is much more accomplishable than replacing a process that we still don't partially understand.
