Of course it is October. So of course I am going to do a horror a day post until the Devil's Christmas that is Halloween. This year's theme is simply horror films I have bloody loved - some repeated viewings, others very much 'once is enough'.

So there.

Big night out in Wimbledon tonight, the place where Cliff Richard slumbers in his coffin until the cream meets the strawberry

Watched Sinners last night and can't stop thinking about it. What a film #filmsky #horrorsky

Remember when fully grown adults genuinely thought vaccines had nanobots in them, a technology that doesn't exist

Just enjoyed a lovely migraine. Had that horrible feeling where one eye gets weird visions like it's going down the stargate in 2001: A Space Odyssey

So long as this does not put me off my Thursday cider, all will be well in the world

This is what i fucking hate about people

People: I see this and have come to this conclusion

Creator/owner: That's incorrect, I made it so I should know what I meant

People: No! I'm right. I don't believe you and I know your mind better than you do

Get in the fucking sea
It’s the exclusive everyone wanted, the story that will win next year’s Pulitzer…

I can reveal London’s giant AI generated Christmas artwork, the subject of much online mockery, is being torn down - and I honestly *genuinely* think you’ll never guess why. www.londoncentric.media/p/ai-artwork...
London's giant AI artwork to be torn down
The bizarre story of why a much-talked-about creation is being torn down. Plus: Docklands Light Railway extension, giant laser stalks the night sky, and more tales of Android phone theft rejection.

Hope he goes out of business

I do not have snow, instead I have lots of freezing rain, but what I was meant to have was a fella come round and fit two new external doors to my lean to, which is not going to happen now is it, you weathery bastard

Alongside the hard of thinking wetting their nappies over TV Christmas ads not being exactly as they want them, I also take great joy in the mincebrain outrage at things 'not being labelled Christmas'

How in the name of blue fuck do these people have the time or the energy to get outraged at this
Let’s have a look at a crazy Twitter to newspaper pipeline story and debunk as we go! 🔎👍🏼

16th Nov the “Britain is Broken” account shared the following post claiming “Tesco are no longer celebrating Christmas”

With a picture of their “Evergreen” Trees

Just watched the first episode of The Beast In Me.

Very interesting, will keep watching, despite feeling like 95% of it was close ups of Claire Danes' stress lip wobble face

Remember when that soppy prick Stephen Bear turned up for his trial in a pimp coat and carrying a cane, then he just got done for being a sex offender and banged up

My son just informed me that a lad in his class has been calling people a Negative Nazi instead of a Negative Nancy and I'm still not over this

Having worked in advertising and creative for a long time, it was an absolute given that *anything* created would go through multiple levels of scrutiny and QA before production.

Then you get this.

Are people just churning out any old shit and thinking 'yeah, it must be right, AI did it'
This mural has gone up in Kingston, ostensibly for Christmas but AI has ensured it's actually to celebrate the return of our dark lord Cthulhu

I applied for a job yesterday and sent my CV to a recruiter. They sent me the job description and started asking me how relevant my sector experience was.

Turns out the job is at a place I worked at two years ago, so funnily enough, I do know it very well.

Nice they bothered to read my CV though

Random memory of doing a tweet years ago about a silly thing my then young son said, which was met by a 'didn't happen' goon, and when I politely but dryly said 'oh wow, you got me there champ' he replied '*cry laugh emoji* triggered much, LOL!'

Reader. I fucking hated him. Like, burning hatred

'Frozen space piss javelin' is a phrase I have seen on here today.

Always an education, this place

I'm updating my portfolio and I bloody hate doing that because I cringe my soul out when I have to try and big myself up.

I can't stand all that chest pounding and self-aggrandising

I know Wetherspoons are generally a hive of despair, but I can't argue with their prices.

Last night, a Guinness and a Stowford Press came to £6.28

In my local, a pint of Neck Oil alone is £7.80

A night out down there means I am paying double to more or less drink the same boozes
