Me too; the issue here is that this item falls into both camps.

It was a decade ago but I came up against this crap when I was pregnant and several people were incredibly disdainful when I said the only outcome that mattered was myself and the baby coming out of it alive and as healthy as possible, and the method she came out was irrelevant.

I'm seeing it here with the new leader of one of our smaller parties (deliberately not putting names so as not to attract fanboys). He's saying the right things with the right energy & it's desperately needed & I *really* appreciate that.
