We’re in the discovery phase to #FreeJavaScript from Oracle: depositions, surveys, evidence, expert testimony. Costly, but vital to protect "JavaScript" for all.

Help us put forward the strongest case possible👇

The death of forums means that if you want to know some niche hobbyist thing it’s available on some Discord server that’s not indexable by Google Search where people probably ask the same questions again and again. Not great!

We started this side-project with Hono. Added @cloudflare-dev.bsky.social D1, @drizzle.team ORM, and then @fiberplane.bsky.social Middleware.

Should have directly started it with @honcstack.bsky.social 🤦‍♂️

I've been loving @fiberplane.bsky.social's HONC stack! Used it in a hackathon last year (won in AI! 🤖🏆) & now it’s my go-to for type-safe APIs.

For Valentine’s Day, I built a card generator—write your own or let AI do it! 💌

The coffee makes the same face I make before I’ve had the coffee. This is the moment when we commune. Me. Coffee. Coffee. Me. We are both mostly water. We are one.

I feel like one of the unsung soft skills of typescript development is knowing when you’re about to spend an hour fighting the compiler, and choosing to spend your time somewhere more impactful
Yeah, TypeScript is cool, but sometimes you spend too much time avoiding ANY

Hackathon prizes I’d gladly compete for:

1. $10000 in untraceable bearer bonds

2. Voucher for a psychic

3. Ten liters of under-eye crème that’s been banned in the EU/EEA

4. A box of 1996 Backstreet Boys world tour concert merch, never opened

5. Control of Elon Musk’s twitter for a full year

If I worked for Google I would open a giant office in Inner Sunset, then when everyone finally moved in, I’d publish a post how it’d been an incredible journey but we’re sunsetting our Sunset office.

It would be very funny.

People are having entire dialogues with their copilot to develop features. Those conversations are lost by the time they commit code or open a PR. This is such low hanging fruit
has anyone done any exploration mapping prompts with commit messages? Essentially using the prompt input message as input for generating a commit message.

There seems to be so much overlap in both: both are trying to communicate the intention of a code change
