Hi, just a friendly reminder that Freydis Moon just released an audiobook last week and that you should not buy purchase that book at all because Freydis a brownfishing white person who likes to bully their fellow trans and queer authors.

It's really satisfying to be able to win a civ 6 game with science or culture. Just got a science victory in a game with my partner and was a few turns from a culture victory too. #gaming

Ever since I watched this video: youtu.be/jZOgZ_u0Awk?... I keep seeing more and more people talking about it. I haven't read YA in a while because I've craved more adult stories, but I had a feeling the romantasy craze was hitting there big time.

This is me with my staff development day yesterday. Today has been so rough.
that chronically ill/disabled feel of needing to recover after a day of errands and appointments especially grocery shopping.

Yesterday I did many Thing and I am very tired today.

I blame everyone who voted for this. I hope you get everything you voted for.

I blame everyone who said we were making too big of a deal of things.

Did we?

I blame everyone who said we were exaggerating.

Were we!

I blame everyone who said it wasn’t that bad.

Isn’t it?

I feel this so much. If I have time to listen, I'm always in an audiobook. And all my friends are online so we text mostly.
"Have you listened to the podcast where-"

NO! I HAVE NO TIME! THERE ARE 8,000 BOOKS TO READ, I''M STILL NOT FINISHED WITH BREAKING BAD, AND I HAVE A JOB! DO YOU PEOPLE NEVER SLEEP! ARE YOU ON COCAINE?! IF I WANTED TO LISTEN TO PEOPLE TALKING I'D HAVE MORE FRIENDS!

I really hope the 2026 Great Decisions book doesn't have the AI generated garbage they emailed as the cover. Last year's cover was AI generated and this one is worse. There are so many photo opportunities they could use instead. @foreignpolicy.bsky.social please return to using a photo. AI sucks.

Making my way slowly through Katabasis and holy fuck. I've never felt so triggered but also seen. Alice describes something horrible that hit so close to home. I suspected it based on the early parts but then her description of it all was just.. so much.

August was a great month for reading. I got to return to some old favorite series and also found some new things I enjoyed a lot. Was very impressed with Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. Can't wait for September reads! Looks like for audio I may be diving into more horror thanks to Libro.fm.

Post something from your camera roll that comes up when you search yellow car.

Did the search for yellow car and found a manga page from who knows what manga with the words yellow and car in different spots. Plus there's a car in it. Not bad.

When Life Gives You Tangerines is so so good. I'm so glad I finally got to watch it. I've been a crying mess all morning watching the last episode and it was so worth it.

July was a fantastic reading month filled with so much queer rep. Lots of great danmei and manga. My favorite read this month was Hemlock and Silver by T. Kingfisher which comes out later this month. I received a free copy from Libro.fm.

Felt like June was a struggle to read but I didn't do too bad. The graphic novel Trans History and Death of the Author were definitely highlights.

May was filled with manga primarily. The only two print prize I finished were The Legend of Exorcism and Riverbay Road Men's Dormitory. The Legend of Meneka was a surprisingly great read, too. Not bad for top three. Hopefully, I can shake out of my prose slump this month. #storygraph #booksky
