Our foreign policy will lay in ruins soon. Decades of trust and fellowship with other countries will disappear. Donald Trump is unprepared and unfit to conduct foreign policy. In fact, he is unfit for anything. I grieve for our nation. I’m not optimistic.

Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune refused to unequivocally state that court orders must be obeyed. This is beyond alarming. Maybe we need something higher than five alarms?

Trump suspends the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act so big corporations can bribe foreign officials and make more money and idles the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau so big financial institutions can screw consumers … because he’s fighting 24/7 for ordinary Americans who can’t afford to buy eggs!

I notice that NC republicans are taking power from the duly elected Democratic state officials, purging voter files in Democrat strongholds, gerrymandering districts to meet their agenda and not conceding elections are too much. Not to mention their ruthless policies. Democracy is in jeopardy.

No public funds toward private schools, no tax right offs for private school tuition, no charter schools to receive tax payer dollars, if there are cuts to defense spending-put it towards education. They are our future.
