Keep thinking I'll come up with a sparky rejoinder. Keep not doing so. It's a change of life I wouldn't wish on anyone. I often get up (slowly, meh) from couch, start off at normal speed, then remember/am physically reminded I can't and switch to my new (2 years in Dec.) tentative pace.
Wear a mask.
Speaking as the partner of @gavingrant.bsky.social who, over a year and a half after a mild case of what was most likely Covid, continues to spends 85 percent of his time on a couch, you really want to neither get this nor pass it on to anyone else.
I'M SAYING!!!! literally anytime any one asks me why I'm still masking (beyond the obvious, community care), I'm like: even if it is a 1% chance that I get this thing and it gives me long covid, I cannot afford it -- physically or financially. I can't do it.

Portrait Artist of the Decade's tag line "You have four hours to capture Judy Dench" keeps making me giggle. I mean how fast could she actually be?

The 'Pride of Sussex, Round-headed Rampion, still in flower in Sussex.

The flower-heads seem as if they'd be more at home in the sea, a cross between an 'over-armed' octopus & a colourful sea anemone!

Thanks to Les Binns for sharing his photo

Epson cartridges are extremely expensive. I don't print very much at all, but they seem to print just a few pages, not even 100 and demanding more ink. What a rook!

Computer just went nuts, browser opening tabs instead of within window, and refused my password which I had to change. Once that was done, all is fine. Virus? Had scanned and updated.

I am in Vicenza for a conference but had this morning to look around 🏺 and 🎭🎨. I was screaming with laughter at depiction of Virgin Mary in all the Holy Family paintings. So, here’s a thread. Or whatever you call them here. It is also International Tourist Day so this is appropriate!

Anxiety is ludicrous. It wakes me at 1:15am because of a very normal upcoming happening but somehow it should be catastrophised. I KNOW this is what I'm meant to be anxious about. But it's handleable and routine. Who is in charge here? I'd like my sleep back! So stupid.

I'm fluent in French but have such a hard time with Canadian French. It's like they're a hybrid of Provence and Brittany.
P.S. Canadian French programmes shown in France have subtitles I saw, as if a foreign language, not for hard of hearing.
