4/ So, I’m flipping a house and channeling the energy and confidence of a much younger, healthier, energetic version of me while menopausal, sick and on a very limited budget.

3/ Turns out they had money to live independently. Happy to live off me, knowing I’m unemployed due to a rare, brutal illness. I’ve rented the last 16 years with my kids.

Friends, they moved out and right into a nice house they immediately bought themselves.

I let a struggling fam member live there for 14 years. No rent.

When I said I needed to sell, and offered to continue to provide for them, I was met with a galactic tantrum. Histrionics. A smear campaign.

Kudos to mom. Same. No kids, no property, no mutual friends. I refuse to consider it a marriage because I didn’t get a husband out of it.
