I get the impression that Americans believe they can just elect a president who is a tad less crazy than this one and everyone will be friends with the US again. I don´t think that will happen. The US will not recover from this anytime soon. A fair share of Europeans see you as enemies now.

Let me check something here. Illegal immigrants make up roughly 4% of the total U.S. population. Their crime rate is roughly 600 per 100,000. Those statistics make it clear that illegal immigrants are not a threat to national peace and security.

The GOP blocked extension of the ACA subsidies. This is morally repugnant, and also everybody knew this fight was lost the second that Senate Dems surrendered on the shut down last month. In the coming primaries, we're looking for Dems who will actually use their power and fight back.

So now that the Trump administration is coming to realize they totally committed international crimes, they’re realizing they must buy off or threaten the court/officials that decides this stuff. This is his life’s work. If you did it & there’s evidence, make it so they can’t do anything to you.
