I must beg to differ with Sam on this one. It is pretty clear and obvious to any cogent being when The Orange Child Rapist is lying. OTOH, our little fascist MAGAts will believe anything he says, even when it contradicts something he said five seconds before.

Repeated government lying, warned Hannah Arendt, makes it impossible for citizens to think and to judge
When officials lie time and again, people don’t know what to trust. And when this happens, citizens cannot deliberate, approve or dissent coherently, because a shared world no longer exists.

"Don't you people realize I have to protect my stock portfolio?"
I will give Suozzi more credit than he gives himself. He knew what the vote was. He just figured the way to "win" was to support the funding because that's more "centrist" and buck the Democratic majority. But morally, he knew what this was about. He ended up wrong morally AND politically.

Just to be really clear here, in every "riot" dating all the way back to the anti-conscription "riots" during the Civil War, it has always been the "law enforcement" people who start the violence. It's never, ever been from the protestors.

and stoopidz.
To avoid the possibility Holocaust remembrance might lead to empathy for migrants, Trump's antisemitism envoy claims Anne Frank "was in Amsterdam legally."

In reality, Margot Frank received a summons to go to a labor camp on July 5, 1942. After ignoring this call, they were in Amsterdam illegally.

The officer who shot Alex worked for DHS for 8 years. The officer who shot Renee worked for DHS for over 10 years. Both are considered “highly trained.”

The problem isn’t "training." DHS was built to violate our rights and has been empowered to act with impunity. We must MELT ICE and dismantle DHS.

But watch ICE eliminate the right to bear arms by executing anyone they find with a gun and to hell with the 2nd Amendment.

No, it is not undefined. It is state-sponsored terrorism. Our government is a gang of terrorists. I would like to think that when this ends (if it ends), everyone involved is hauled to the Hague to face charges of crimes against humanity.
There can be no substitute for that... on the world stage.
Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling on ICE: "They are an undisciplined militia and the leadership is awful...This is not policing and it's not military service. It's something dangerously undefined."
