In the 9th inning last night, Dave Roberts pulled Tommy Edman from center and put in Andy Pages, presumably because Pages had a better outfield arm.

The first World Series Game 7 (in a best of 7 series) was in 1947. The home plate umpire was Eddie Rommel. Rommel was the A’s pitcher in 1932 when Cleveland’s Johnny Burnett reached base nine times. Just like Ohtani did in Game 3.
