I used to work in the industry. Foreign-born caregivers do the vast amount of the heavy lifting. They really are unreplaceable.
Trump will break us like a mob boss, in our vulnerable work force
Nursing homes are getting slammed by idiotic immigration crackdowns, losing vital foreign-born staff who actually give a damn about the elderly. While fat cats cry over hotels and farms, caregivers are hung out to dry. Screw the politics; these workers are the real backbone.
