In a normal year, my county sees approximately 14 deaths due to drunk driving and 14 due to gun homicides.
Year-to-date, we've seen 16 COVID deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, we've had one month with zero COVID deaths.
So don't live in fear, but maybe also don't live with your eyes closed?
