Thiiiiiiisssssss 👇 I keep reminding myself that a first draft just has to be finished. Not pretty, not groundbreaking - it barely has to make sense, tbf. You can fix all of that. It just has to exist.
The most important thing in writing is to finish. A finished thing can be fixed. A finished thing can be published. A finished thing can be made into a movie.
