Some band but what would they?

“The Wheels on the Bus” – lots of going round and round, very little forward motion.
The Telegraph’s political editor is saying, more subtly, what others are saying brutally.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

Has this man ever got anything right?

This man needs help and the Republicans are the ones to give it.
It’s time they realised he has to go and as soon as possible.
Unstable and unwell.

Excellent proposals that we should all get behind.

The latest letter from Trump to the Norwegians shows just how off his head he really is.
But the big question is where are the Republicans and Democrats in this “Alice in Wonderland” nightmare?
Come on you people get him removed. He needs help and a safe padded place to lie down.

What no one from Gaza?
What a surprise.

Methinks she dies protest too much!
The fifth greatest development in American politics in the coming years would be seeing Leavitt in jail.
Leavitt: "The media is complicit in this violence because if you look at the headline from CNN -- 'protests erupt after federal agent shoots man in Minneapolis.' That is not the story that is not the truth. If you want to know the truth, look at what DHS released."

I agree. If this doesn’t prove the man is an imbecile I don’t know what will.
How utterly childish of him to accept.
This might be the single most pathetic thing I've seen in my adult life.
Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado has given her Nobel Peace Prize medal to President Donald Trump during a meeting at the White House, saying it was a recognition of his commitment to her country's freedom

I’m 80 how do you think I feel!!
I was 20 when HS2 was announced. Great to know i’ll probably be in my late 60s when the Birmingham-Manchester section starts work let alone finishes. Seems like a country doing things the right way!

“people are more likely to feel that their area has got worse over the past ten years”.
That’s because it is worse. 14 years of total Tory incompetence.
There is a widespread feeling of decline about place. On every dimension people are more likely to feel that their area has got worse over the past ten years. This is especially true for the condition of local high streets, levels of crime, access to good shops and access to good quality healthcare.

Anyone who has been into A & E in the last few years knows just how awful it is. We waited over 10 hours to see a doctor with what could have been a very serious condition. On entering A&E we were told there was an 8 hour wait to see a doctor.
Why don’t Labour do something about it?
Labour did very little in the way of serious thinking about health policy in opposition and barely any before deciding “electives” was the first of the various fires in the NHS to put out, and now the die is cast on that one.
As I've said before the lack of focus on A&E in govt plans is bewildering even just from a political perspective. For many people it's their most viseral and memorable interaction with the state.

14 years of running the country into the ground and you still think it’s Labour’s fault?

This is very important and very moving. Shahmir’s story cuts to the very heart of our current, ongoing malaise. (It also chronicles the tragic collapse of BBC credibility.) He is an incredibly brave man.

Here the press continue to blame Labour for almost everything.

Some rich guy, who lives in Vietnam, used to support the Tories but now gives £9M to the Reform Party.
Why?
He is very rich so those people thinking of voting for Reform should ask themselves if he really is on their side?
