I updated my MacOS so I could get the new Final Cut Pro X updated features. Forgot my machine is virtually worthless until all the Spotlight, photo, iCloud, and sync daemons finish reindexing my entire system.

The heavy algorithms used at Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok have led to many users to take advantage of these systems. This ranges from adding unnecessary images to engagement/rage bait.
All in all, these algorithms lead to less authentic interactions and a gamified social contract.
