I miss the snow days! I live in northern California now and see snow on the mountains, but never out the front door.
I lived in snowy country the first half of my life and miss it but enjoy the sunny skies and moderate temperatures here.
Oh well.

One of the top 10 Lucy moments!
(Along with crushing grapes, mirroring Chico Marx, scenes with John Wayne...and more)

A fun art trip! My wife's first time going across I-90 in South Dakota and into Minnesota. We took our time to reach our destination but scampered back on I-80 to home.
Was nice to have the time for side trips and detours for artsy reasons.

My brother and his wife are having a Reveal party for their friends in its new home in their home in Pennsylvania.

After their ceremony, I'll surely share photos. Coming up in a couple weeks I think.

We had to shave our cat because of burrs and hair matting except for her head. Your pup wins the strangest look contest by far!

All the way to their home and back it would have been more like 6500 miles!

We're a big country.
(I just wish we were a lot more democratic these days.)

We took a northern path across Interstate 90 with a few side trips TO
our destination and a slightly more southerly path across Interstate 80 straight BACK home so my wife would see some of the country she'd never been to. That added maybe 1000 miles to the shortest possible trip.

Had we gone

I knew it would having made (and lost) another glass map to Wildfire, but first viewing of a new piece is always stirring.

Yes, my fingers were in pretty good shape before we left to deliver the map.

I still have a couple weeks worth of work to finish the other map that I'll be keeping so I'll be using more bandaids soon.

Right now, I'm recovering from the 4655 mile cross country trip to get it to Don & Janeen.

I know my brother Don knows where they are putting it in their home, but I'm not familiar enough with their place to know more. I said and they can understand that the more light the better.

His daughter, a New Yorker, said it should be in the Met (museum).

the 77lb bundled up map to the kitchen table.

Only my wife and I knew what was in the bundle we brought.

Here is the the moments of revelation.
