I understand stakes. But if certain characters are brought in only to be killed? People are not gonna be happy. Do them right, Russos. If they die, there better be a good fucking reason. (I'm still pissed about the shit Multiverse of Madness pulled. Which, I know, too much energy for just a movie.)

Now that it's out for purchase... Wicked: For Good is such a disappointment. The first movie added so much (muted) color to the musical, and even added some more bits from the novel that inspired the musical. Why did For Good have to feel like watching a movie by its soundtrack?

Seeing reactions to Wicked sequel... I get why the musical decided to end the way it did. It's supposed to be an escape. But I'm sad that the movie adaptation didn't hew closer to the book source. Specifically with Fiyero's ending.

Why are AI "tools" and "smart features" always already turned on when they are introduced? Why am I forced to opt out manually? If it's such a good feature, trust the people to turn it on. Why you gotta be sneaky about it?

I was enjoying the most recent episode of Crowd Control until the Bucket of Bits showed up. But to focus on the positive: I really liked the editing this episode, the cuts aren't as jarring as they usually are; and Baron Vaughn, Tina Friml, and Kiran Deol were a joy.

End of the day: volunteering to be a moderator--especially if it's an unpaid position--makes me feel queasy about a person. I'm not saying all volunteer moderators want power. But I am going to be wary about them. I've been paid to moderate before. There's not enough money for me to do it again.

I know it's close to impossible for the Philippines to get a tour date from the people I enjoy (Jukebox the G, Dropout, D Sloss, etc) but if any one of them drop a Singapore date. I would buy a ticket in a heartbeat. To hell with my savings. I need a dose of happiness however fleeting.

I love Atsuko Okatsuka. Trying to love Crowd Control. This is a streaming show. We Dropout fans roll with two hour episodes of Dimension 20 (and the odd three), we can roll with longer episodes of Crowd Control too. Let the comedians cook!

The new episode of Crowd Control has the best energy of the three that has been released so far. If there's an episode to get people to give Crowd Control a try? This is it. (I'm still not a fan of the red light coming in AFTER Jacquis calls the comedians back though.)

It looks like Mike Johnson is flourishing in his current career but if he ever decides to change careers... He'd do wonders as an actor who plays only villains. He gives bad news and threats with such unbridled glee. He scapegoats and passes blame with such aplomb. He's a natural.
