Feeling very grateful this morning, Thanos had eaten some bark enough to cause an obstruction. Several emergency vet visits later and he is recovering without having to undergo surgery. He lost about 5 pounds which is a lot for a miniature dachshund. He would not even eat boiled chicken.

Dachshunds can still reach their back paws with the cone of shame on. Why does this matter? Groot was at the groomer and kicked his back leg right into the scissors and cut the pad on his foot. Took 6 stitches which he pulled out 2 as soon as the bandage was removed.
