Thanos loves the fireplace, I always have a lead on him when we go camping if we have a fire I'm not sure he knows he could get burned unlike the one at home.

I met a guy this weekend who makes stunningly beautiful wooden kayaks. He actually takes them out on the water. You can look him up Kayaks by Dave Lake.

Normally neither do I however I just got an entire truck load of crabapple tree cut down about 2 weeks ago and that's days of processing to break it all down into blanks for bowls and spindles.

This is what Thanos does when the chairs are moved away from the island while mopping the floor. If he can climb it or jump on it he will.

I had a few minutes to spare and made a little more progress...I am going for about a 3/8" wall thickness.

Today I have a small mesquite bowl with a live edge. First time turning mesquite and almost first time turning a live edge bowl. The outside is turned almost to the final shape starting to hollow out the inside. Haven't even sanded yet just sprayed it with lacquer to see how it would pop.

Feeling very grateful this morning, Thanos had eaten some bark enough to cause an obstruction. Several emergency vet visits later and he is recovering without having to undergo surgery. He lost about 5 pounds which is a lot for a miniature dachshund. He would not even eat boiled chicken.

They are always listening, my dogs love bananas and Thanos was outside with the door closed and my wife started peeling a banana and Thanos heard it. Thanos says always check blankets before sitting down

Funny you mentioned docks, we had a Newfoundland his name was Jethro. My wife is a NCIS fan. I thought he was more like the Beverly Hillbillies. My wife was walking along the dock and a boat took off, Jethro chased the boat right off the dock with my wife on the other end of the lease.

Here are 2 of my dogs, yes there are 2 there Thanos is completely covered up in the dog bed and the Natasha is sitting on the opening so that Thanos can't get out.
