This picture from the Kennedy Center ceremony was posted on Banksy with the admonition to “caption this”. I tip my cap to the guy who came up with “Team Formaldehyde.” I haven’t been able to stop laughing!

What a beautiful country this must have been once, when you could hop in a coupe [..] and drive, drive, drive, stopping to swim in a river or sleep in a grove of trees without worrying about [..] having the militia arrest you and send you to the Everglades for eternity.

With DC shooter now identified as an Afghan national not the antifa secret agent White House hoped for a good time to remember the Trump admin has gutted domestic anti-terrorism capacity and reassigned many to finding grandmothers to arrest at immigration hearings.

No matter how long I live after we get through this dark chapter, I will never get over the immorality, the amorality, the corruption, the criminality and the cruelty in service to one of the worst humans to ever walk the earth.

It’s the “no consequences” thing for every shitty and illegal thing he has done for close to a decade that feeds my outrage.
„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

It interests me that people are so surprised at Trump’s death threats, as if he hadn’t pardoned Jan 6 rioters convicted of sedition, as if there was no noose and “hang Mike Pence” (his own VP) chants outside the Capitol. This has always been “the norm”.
When you’ve said, “This can’t become the norm!,” for over 10 years, you must realize that as a society…we absolutely allowed it…to become the norm.

If there are no consequences to the "president" for threatening political opponents with death or being cruel to reporters, then why is it even news? Just so we can all be sad about it?

Well said. We are definitely living in the upside down.
I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

Really looking forward to the Speaker of the House claiming to be unaware of the election results.

This sums it up perfectly. He gets away with everything. There is no accountability.
The destruction of the East Wing really bums me out in a way that I wasn't expecting.

I guess some of it is about the destruction of history. But I think it's mostly about the feeling of helplessness. There's nothing we can do to stop him.

Nobody is coming to save us. And it's going to get worse.

Basic human decency seems like such a small ask from the person who holds the highest office in the land doesn’t it? And yet here we are. At the end of the day it all makes me profoundly sad.
I dunno about you, but I prefer presidents who fight for Americans to have affordable healthcare, housing, food etc. versus those who promote AI videos of fighter jets bombing Americans with piles of shit.

This is why hometown radio broadcasts are so much better than TV. Scott Zolak for the Patriots has the same energy. Go Jags!
As called by Frank Frangie on Jaguars radio:

In one day, Mike Johnson protected the child-rapists of the Epstein Files; while Pete Hegseth honored the child-killers of Wounded Knee.

And that’s MAGA Christianity. They simply removed all those woke tiresome Jesus parts.

Donald Trump and Mike Johnson are going to shut down the United States government so they do not have to release the Epstein files.

Shutting our government down, hurting Americans, to protect pedophiles.

How this isn’t the biggest scandal in American history is beyond me.

It’s hard to believe that he could devolve into even newer levels of stupid. 🙄
Where were *you* when Cambodia invaded Armenia?

Personally—and I’m ashamed to admit this—I can’t remember where I was.

But I do know that the first time I heard of the long, bloody war between Cambodia and Armenia was tonight—when Trump boasted of negotiating the armistice that ended the conflict.

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.

I can’t stop thinking about how the Access Hollywood tape came out before the election even happened, yet suddenly we have people concerned that the President might have lied about being a sexual predator who were totally fine with it when he told the truth about being a sexual predator

very grim
