So sad to see my hometown go up in flames. Grew up in the Hollywood Hills and now some very familiar streets are in the burn zone. It hasn't quite made it to my part of the hills, but it feels devastating. I haven't lived there for decades and i am safely far away in a different state, I grieve.

So it’s nice to find German language stuff here too. It just showed up and as it’s my first language I’m excited. Also I never lived in Germany except as an infant, so it’s nice to connect!
