I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Take it from someone who was there on 9-11 and downtown for years after, this is horrific. It took forever for first responders and those who live downtown to get any aid and if someone claims to love America and Americans, why would you do this? I’m being quite rhetorical because we know the way.

I mean…this is how it feels right now. The false outrage & attacks on DEI are distracting from what is happening with Elon and his baby cronies. Ask yourself, why are his people young men, many from privilege, with little to no experience in federal and gov’t matters. Is it bc they don’t say “no”?
