Folks, this review is simply everything to me. 🥺😭🫶♾️🖤

My insecure little writer’s heart is absolutely bursting. Especially after the ARC readers threw so much shade at me.

I’ve generally been on a SM hiatus, but stopped by to say hello 👋🏼

In my dream last night @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com announced he would not continue the Good Omens series because he didn’t want to fuel any more angst-ridden PhD-level discussions on the topic & suggested everyone should read some Tolstoy & get outside a bit.

I’m heartbroken & bemused.

Her music she freely gives
yet when I slip her beneath my skin
roll her essence under my tongue
secret her into patchwork pockets
I am a thief thick with the night
made rich on these private treasures

The Entangled poets were born from the best of what that other space had to offer more than 4 years ago. We’ve morphed into family & now our baby is about to be born! 😱🤯

In the meantime, we celebrate each other with grand aplomb 🥳🤩

Nice to see you and those busy bees! 🐝

Meeting your fine little friends was one of the highlights of my visit to Parliament House in 2019!

I’m running from
End of the World
Behind me’s
Naught but ash

They say there’s but
BlueSky ahead
So for that sky
I dash

Keep moving, they say
Don’t look back
Or you’ll be turned
To salt

Behind me
Old World
Fades to #black
And it’s a madman’s fault
#vss365

(Howdy y’all!🤠)

The pages press upon me
with their silent insistence.
Sibilant susurrations of unread
books in the wind, leaving me
waiting, wanting - one chapter
more before switching off
to return, to the world beyond
the wave carved stacks.
