Autism is similar to being a vampire in that some special interests can only be discussed after they have been invited into the conversation, lest the topic will become very draining to the other party.

The Scarlet Letter. I read it in high school and mostly I was just pissed at how verbose Hawthorn was with his descriptions. To this day, I swear, that man was paid by the letter.

From a child’s perspective, growing up is basically the same as getting super strength. There are other psychological/mental/emotional superpowers we can develop in adulthood, but those usually tie into gaining powers through traumatic events and come with natural consequences.

Just now realizing that the A in Type-A Personality probably stands for autistic. Yes, not everyone with autism is type-A, but all the type-As I know are definitely on the spectrum.

Do you know what didn’t exist in 1930s Nazi Germany that exists today? Any historical knowledge of how much damage Nazis could do to society. Hopefully, having that knowledge can help us not repeat those tragedies. It’s not much, but it’s a start. Fascism isn’t inevitable, despite its persistence.

I think I have forgotten how to social media, assuming I ever knew. I often just post something I made, but I understand that just comes across as self promoting. I used to post 3 photos a day on instagram, but this past year I posted 3 photos total. Any advice is appreciated. #socialmedia #bluesky
