I'm leaving the Blue Bird in favor of the Blue Sky. From now until Jan 18 or so, I'll search up my faves from the bird to add here. If I miss some, I'm sorry. I hate to leave those good folks behind.
So yeah, I paid $13 for one roll of regular (not heavy duty) aluminum foil this week. This is ridiculous.

Thanks, Trump.

I'm very curious what falling out Jeff and Don had after Thanksgiving 2017.

You don't write other people "I'm the one who can bring him down" unless you are mad at someone.

247-1

This tells us that Republicans are herd animals. They rarely act on their own morals or ethics. They wait to see which way the wind is blowing to be sure they have protection within the group.

Massie+3 did a good thing, but their self congratulation was a little gross.

When states like Colorado passed policies requiring employers to disclose salary information in job postings, what happened?

It increased competition, and raised wages, without harming employment or changing skill requirements.

Improved functioning of markets, helped workers.

Exactly this.

If there is fraud in Medicaid, and it's been tracked down, charge those defrauding the government. Name and shame!

I haven't seen anyone charged under this administration.

I do occasionally see statewide stories of fraud, and the evidence is in the paper.
Ok. Let's see some arrests.

As the Senate tries to defend a million dollar payday to 8 of their own - and as the House GOP tries to explain why they refused to amend the CR to strip it out, let's review exactly what it is they want restitution for. Brief thread:

Here's a thing I don't understand:

Why did trump make such a fuss about releasing the Epstein files when he campaigned?

Did he just assume if he won he could ignore it?

Did he not know how much his pal Jeff had recorded about him?

Did he trust he could off Jeff and Maxwell easily?

I really hope Trump and Hegseth are not at the Army Navy game this year. I don't want to see their smug mugs.

If worker pay grew at the same pace as CEO pay, today’s typical worker would make a staggering $431.80 per HOUR (including benefits).
Instead, today’s typical worker makes $36.49 per hour — while CEOs make 280 times that on average.
The system is rigged.
