I’m disgusted Cait Corrain is using mental illness as a shield to avoid accountability for the harm she caused. It’s shameful on a number of levels, and I hope all those affected by her actions lead fulfilling and successful careers.

I hope my work resonates with fellow neurodivergent adults who weren’t diagnosed until adulthood.

We all have unique experiences and deserve representation in all facets of genres, and I hope what I can bring to the table is enough to help someone out there feel seen and understood.

I was just informed that my short story, Summer Love Spell, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

I’m in shock!! What an honor to be chosen as a nominee. Out of all the short stories and poems Wild Ink publishes a year. For mine to be selected as one of their best… ❤️😭

The absolute best feeling is when you figure out one plot point that domino effects into a sequence that you type out in all capital letters before you lose it 🔥📝

The passion is flowing for this first draft ❤️

Amazing to see What You Need to be Warm on the New York Times bestseller list! Please buy copies from your local bookseller. (Every copy makes money for refugees and not the author.)

Do other writers enjoy writing out of order as much as I do? It’s so hard to stick chronologically when there’s juicy stuff happening I want to explore in the later acts of a manuscript #AmWriting

I drove an hour to Buc-ee’s for a phone holder and some cherry soda just to procrastinate on writing this morning

But hey, the drive gave me a lot of daydreaming inspiration! Back to work this afternoon 📝

I wrote 2500 words today so I can imagine a complex animated musical sequence of one of my scenes in the imaginary adaptation that lives in my brain as a treat 💕

Pumping up for NaNoWriMo this year 📝🔥 I won’t be able to finish the whole thing due to life and my job, but I have it planned to write every single day of the month and bleed a lot into December
