In college I overslept and had a ten page paper due for my class at 6 it was 1 when I remembered I grabbed a large coffee, a pepsi, and cranked out all those pages including a work cited page in around 2 hours. My friend still mentions it because he couldn't believe I did it in that amount of time
I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

Just don't post. Don't feel the need to weigh in on every issue all the time. Sometimes other people have said it better. Don't force yourself to chase trends, news, events, drama, and definitely don't feel like you have to be involved in everything that happens.

I have done my best not to let many things going on upset me too much because I have enough going on irl but trying to downplay slavery is making me mad. Erasing history is one of the worst things ever. It happened. We can work on making the present better instead of trying to erase the past

I have done a lot this summer break and I'm proud of myself! I got back into reading, writing, and even though I still don't have a place to use my sewing machine I at least have things ready for when I do. I go back on Monday and I'm nervous for a lot of reasons.

Can my family please trust the doctors that have gone to medical school? Please? Can my mom just trust mental health professionals? Please? There's nothing wrong with being on medication to help your brain I promise. I feel like I'm about to lose it here

It's sad that everything has to be built around shortening attentions these day. Not everything needs be designed to grip you in the first 2 seconds some things are supposed to be a slow burn.
