“Nobody owes you anything” is a social philosophy, not an isolated incident. And if you live under it, sooner or later, you will suffer for it.

What most people think of as "Covid" is merely the display of symptoms resulting from infection, not the disease itself, which does lasting harm. Unfortunately, that harm is frequently unseen in the short term, leading people to erroneously imagine that they have "recovered."

In other words, the very people with the power to define the status quo -- healthcare is enormously profitable

And they are not going to let go of that without a ferocious fight

Happy patients do nothing for a hospital or an insurers bottom line

There is NO monetary advantage to having patient satisfaction
