My workhorse Cintiq has been shattered. I'm going to be taking commissions to allay the costs to repair it if possible - Likely traditional, though I can still do digital character illustrations for the moment. Details to come on my NSFW account first, then here when I figure out what to do.

Longtime followers will recognize Rabid, Heyew & BLK MLK. I made these sprites for an RPG I was working on with @storyofsomewheres.com & a small cohort of friends from 2003 until its cancellation in 2009. This project is how I learned to make pixel art!

The animation showcases how he looks from cardinal and ordinal facing directions; he is holding a suitcase in one hand that stays consistent in all 8 facing directions. An animation of a monster "Everybody's Football" with the appearance of a regulation football merged with an American football. The mass of sport balls has a pained face with misaligned teeth and wings colored to match each kind of football they are attached to. It has mandibles at its bottom side, one of which has been torn off, leaving a mass of flesh that flops with each flap of its wings.

You're welcome to join my Oekaki, or better yet, use the one at the Relaunch URL to test out what the software is like. The way you choose in the Relaunch version is to select your drawing Tool, set the height and width of your new canvas and check the Save Playback button if you want a timelapse.

A vector logo for a fake game, Kellogg's vs. Capcom: New Age of Breakfast. Kellogg's and Capcom's logos are stacked vertically. There is a silhouette illustration framing the text depicting Cornelius the Rooster, the mascot of Kellogg's Corn Flakes cereal. A colored Oekaki drawing of Wario dressed as Marina Liteyears from the N64 game Mischief Makers. A logo in the lower right is written in Japanese and is designed to look like the Japanese version of Mischief Maker's logo. Translated, the logo reads "Wario Land Shake," and it is topped with a decorative element of Wario's nose in red and orange, in parody of an energetic effect in the Mischief Maker's Japanese logo. An oekaki illustration depicting the player's party from Kingdom Hearts on guard against an army of approaching Heartless. The illustration replaces Sora with Barrett Wallace of Final Fantasy 7's party dressed in an ill fitting parody of Sora's costume. Barrett's signature machine gun arm is replaced with a forearm sized Keyblade, and he is ready for battle. An oekaki illustration of Terry from the Nintendo DS game Contact, sidling up against a wall with a knife ready to strike a vicious looking cow in a nearby hallway. The illustration is colored using the MS Paint Default Palette for Windows Vista and has a minimal signature in the right corner using the artist's inverted smiley face logo.

Looks like #pinksea is still a little rough around the edges, but I am absolutely loving what I'm seeing so far. I only lost one comment drawing so far - I was unable to submit it and had to give up and save it locally!

When they were available, I'd use something like the Abilitations AbiliGrip and cut a small slice in the center hole where it would touch the stylus side switch. Any foam hand grip works, but these came in a nice shape for this purpose!

Rabid's young adulthood got awkward when she developed a deep crush on the Grim Spector of Death. Her behavior during that time earned her a restraining order, & with it, Deathlessness. Her adventures with Heyew has made her a new woman; still a really weird one though!
Rabid and Heyew take a quick sandwich break. Heyew's transforming tentacle comes in handy for menial tasks of all kinds! Various doodles of Rabid. She carries a lead pipe as her weapon of choice, and is not above a bunny suit for special occasions. Cute, but redundant. Apparition and Rabid seem to be in this embarrassing situation every easter. Perhaps both of them should leave the bunny suit home next year! Assorted sketches of Rabid. She loves, she cries, she bulks up if you get her mad enough...

Heyew & Rabid share a bit of a strange friendship... This four panel sequence has a reluctant Heyew sit with Rabid to receive her wisdom on romance. Rabid is full of advice of dubious quality. She makes a twisting motion to explain to her buddy how much "any lady loves the skeletal grip of the reaper." Do not take any advice from Rabid. Heyew is never sure how much there is to learn from Rabid. More than you'd think; less than you'd hope.
